About Max L. Rosenberg

Max Rosenberg has represented clients in all phases of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings, from preparing the initial petition through plan formulation and confirmation.

He has extensive experience in litigating a broad range of issues that may arise in a bankruptcy case such as dischargeability, lift stay motions, cram down and strip off of liens, preferences and fraudulent conveyances.

Max stays current in the law through his memberships and attendance at conferences with the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, The New York Bar Association, and the Greater Bridgeport Bar
Assosiation.

Max Rosenberg started his career as an actor, staring in a variety of films, educational videos and television commercials.  He honed his craft by
performing stand up comedy in The Borsht Belt, Catskills and New York City clubs.

Max is a graduate of Greens Farms Academy.  He received his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Performance at Fordham University, Lincoln Center where he wrote and directed numerous plays.  He earned Masters Degrees in Sociology and Religion from Columbia University and Union Theological Seminary focusing his studies on Liturgiology.

Max earned his Juris Doctorate from The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, New York, and is licensed to Practice Law in Connecticut and New York.  He holds a special certification in Conflict Resolution and Mediation received from The Central European University in Budapest.

While practicing in New York, Max mediated disputes at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Max was also an instructor at the John Jay College School of Criminal Justice.

Max currently resides in Stratford, CT with his wife and sons, Zohar and Asher.
